No fan of Linux!

It seems that there is no module in Fedora, and other Linux distros as far as I can tell, to control the CPU fan in the Dell Latitude 13. I’ve installed lm_sensors and GKrellM and the i8k plugin for the latter package. There is some issue that means the plugin isn’t active. I’ll keep working away at it. I’ve seen the temp get up to 45C and it just feels hotter than when running Win7 (plus I can hear the fan running under Win7).

I’ll also look into Ksim (http://ksim.sourceforge.net/) when I have time, as it would be nice to have a working linux distro on the machine.
